The position requires strong technical expertise in construction planning, resource optimisation and progress monitoring to support efficient project execution.\nThe role involves developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking construction progress, identifying potential delays, preparing recovery plans and coordinating with project teams to ensure efficient resource allocation. The successful candidate will contribute to the timely achievement of project milestones while maintaining compliance with contractual requirements and organisational standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop detailed construction programmes, work schedules and project milestones using planning tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.\nMonitor actual site progress against planned schedules, identify delays and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.\nCoordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors and procurement teams to plan workforce requirements, materials, equipment and other resources required for timely project execution.\nIdentify schedule deviations, analyse their causes and impacts, and develop recovery plans and corrective actions to minimise delays.\nAnalyse critical path activities, monitor key project milestones, forecast completion dates and provide schedule performance updates to project management.\nPrepare and maintain project schedules, progress records, look-ahead programmes and other planning documentation.\nCoordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives, construction programmes and contractual requirements.\nProvide timely updates and recommendations to management on project progress, scheduling risks and potential delays.\nQualifications and Experience\nA bachelor's degree in civil engineering (BSc in Civil Engineering).\nFive to ten years of relevant experience in building construction projects.\nProficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.\nStrong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and critical path analysis.\nExperience in preparing progress reports, look-ahead programmes and project recovery schedules.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent planning, coordination and time-management abilities.\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to identify project risks and recommend effective corrective actions.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.\nIf you think you have what it takes to be successful in this challenging role, please click on “Apply Now”.
