This role assists project teams in maintaining compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and project-specific safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture.\nThe HSE Coordinator may independently oversee safety on smaller projects or provide direct support to an EHS Manager on larger or more complex job sites. This role includes hazard identification, incident prevention, safety documentation, and employee engagement, ensuring work is performed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards, including those established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport implementation of HSE programs on assigned electrical construction projects.\nIdentify hazards and assist project teams in implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.\nConduct site safety inspections, audits, and observations to verify compliance with company and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in and lead the development and maintenance of Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and other project safety documentation.\nFacilitate toolbox talks, safety orientations, and safety stand-downs for employees and subcontractors.\nAssist with and lead incident reporting and investigations, including documentation, identification of causal factors, and corrective action implementation.\nProvide oversight of high-risk work activities, including fall protection, lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, and other high-risk activities.\nMaintain accurate safety records, including inspections, incident reports, training documentation, and regulatory records.\nParticipate in project safety meetings and coordinate project management, general contractors, and other stakeholders.\nSupport implementation of corporate EHS policies, initiatives, and safety improvement programs.\nProvide coaching and guidance to field personnel to reinforce safe work practices and promote a proactive safety culture.\nEducationBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.\nExperience0-5 years of experience in construction safety, environmental health, or occupational safety roles.\nExperience in commercial, industrial, or electrical construction environments preferred.\nExperience in Mission-critical/data-center environment is strongly preferred.\nFamiliarity with construction safety regulations including 29 CFR 1926 construction standards and basic knowledge of NFPA 70E standard for electrical safety.\nRequired Training / Certifications:\nOSHA 30-Hour - Construction.\nFirst Aid/CPR/AED Training.\nNFPA 70E Training\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong hazard recognition and problem-solving abilities.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with project management and field personnel.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills.\nAbility to influence safe behaviors and reinforce company safety expectations.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.\nTravel RequirementsAbility to travel to project sites as required.\nWork Environment\nThis position requires an active presence on construction sites. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; navigate uneven terrain, stairs, and ladders; and perform bending, kneeling, and reaching activities. This role may require lifting and carrying materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs. Sufficient visual acuity is required to read plans and documents and to inspect work activities and surrounding conditions. Work may occur outdoors for significant portions of the day, in varying weather conditions, with exposure to loud noise and typical construction-site hazards.
