The company provides shared services to colleagues across multiple European countries and operates from its office in Waterloo.\n\nYou will join a small, collaborative IT team with a flat structure where knowledge sharing, flexibility and teamwork are highly valued. The environment is international, people-oriented and focused on delivering a high-quality IT service to end users across Europe.\n\nYour new role\n\nAs a Senior Support/ System Engineer, you will take on a broad and hands-on position combining System Engineering, Microsoft 365 administration and 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support. This is not a purely infrastructure-focused role. You enjoy being close to users and are willing to remain actively involved in support activities, including first-line support.\n\nYour responsibilities include\n\nProviding 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support to users across Europe\n\nTroubleshooting Hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure-related incidents\n\nManaging and administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows and EndPoint devices\n\nCoordinating onboarding, offboarding and user access requests\n\nHandling incidents, service requests, problems and changes within an ITIL-based environment\n\nWorking with Jira and Confluence for ticket management, documentation and knowledge sharing\n\nSupporting the rollout and further adoption of Jira and Confluence within the organization\n\nCollaborating with external IT vendors and service providers\n\nContributing to IT projects, operational improvements and technical documentation\n\nProviding backup and support to colleagues within the team\n\nThe role is based in Waterloo and includes occasional travel to European offices, approximately once per month.\n\nYour profile\n\nTo succeed in this role, you combine strong technical expertise with a service-oriented mindset. You have\n\nLanguage skills are essential: Dutch and English are fluent, and ideally a good level of French\n\nA bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience\n\nAt least 5 years of experience as a System Engineer, IT Support Engineer or similar position\n\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows environments\n\nExperience across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support environments\n\nPrevious experience working with Jira as a ticketing or IT service management platform\n\nExperience using Confluence for documentation and knowledge management\n\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes and service management principles\n\nYou are independent, approachable, flexible and comfortable working in a flat organization where collaboration and mutual support are key.\n\nWhat you'll get in return\n\nPermanent full-time contract\n\nGross salary between €4,000 and €5,000, depending on experience\n\nCompany car with fuel card (Europe)\n\nGroup insurance and hospitalization insurance\n\nExtra-legal pension plan\n\nPerformance-related bonus\n\nHomeworking allowance and internet compensation\n\nLaptop setup including screen, docking station, webcam and headset\n\nTraining opportunities relevant to your role\n\nFlexible working hours\n\nUp to 1-2 days of homeworking per week\n\nModern working environment with cafeteria and fitness facilities\n\nExposure to international IT operations and cloud technologies\n\nWhat you need to do now\n\nAre you interested in this role?
