The position is also responsible for oversight and support of HTI electrical test facility, responsible for directing testing activities and solutions. Additionally, the position supports operation and sustainability for all HTI’s facilities.\nThis position also works closely with HTI’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Officer in support of safety programs and initiatives.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain machine equipment using “Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Program.” Minimize unplanned downtime.\nQuick response to machine breakdown and facility repairs.\nWork with Engineering to prepare and recommend testing solutions that address current future client needs and provide input for cost analysis on testing solutions.\nPerformance demonstration tests, as required, such as No-Load Tests designed to validate motor operating conditions prior to shipment.\nProvide technical instruction, mentoring, and guidance with regard to HTI test systems and electrical power systems.\nResponsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all facilities related assets, including: HVAC equipment, buildings, grounds, electrical distribution systems, air compressors, elevator, overhead cranes, etc. This will involve first-hand maintenance as well as coordination of contractors as necessary.\nAssist the EH&S Officer with Safety efforts by identifying, executing, and validating compliance with improvements.\nWith the EH&S Officer, work to make certain all precautions are taken to ensure safe use of HTI facilities, machines, and equipment for the protection of company personnel and visitors.\n\nResponsible for safety training for all HTI subcontractors actively working on HTI facilities.\nOther duties as assigned\n\nMinimum qualifications:\nFive (5) years of work experience in manufacturing maintenance environment\nJourneyman or Master Electrician license is preferred\nDemonstrated prior experience in machine tool trouble-shooting and repair\nAbility to respond with short notice to breakdowns and repairs, availability outside of normal scheduled hours\nFamiliarity with, and support of 5S, lean and continuous improvement activities \nProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel \nOrganization, initiative, and communication skills\nAbility to lift 35 pounds from floor to
