Our people come from many different cultures and backgrounds and have skills ranging from farming and quality control to engineering and poultry processing.\n\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of capital and operational projects across our manufacturing and processing operations.\nThis role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through to design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.\nYou will work closely with operations, maintenance and external stakeholders to deliver practical, safe and fit-for-purpose engineering solutions aligned to business objectives and site strategy.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage end to end delivery of capital and operational projects\nDevelop project scopes, cost estimates and project schedules\nCoordinate internal teams, contractors and suppliers\nMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required\nEnsure successful commissioning and handover to operations\nConduct risk assessments including HAZOP and SWMS\nEnsure compliance with WHS, environmental and food safety standards\nManage project budgets, forecasts and cost control\nSupport capital approval processes and business case development\nOversee contractor performance and on-site installation activities\nProvide clear reporting and communication to stakeholders\nDisclaimer: The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may change from time to time based on business needs.
