Their ultimate goal is to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall production performance.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProduction & Process Management:\nSupervise daily production activities to meet operational targets, including efficiency, yield, and quality.\nEnsure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).\nImplement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.\nIdentify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.\nMonitor and control production schedules, adjusting resources as needed to meet demand fluctuations.\nEnsure accurate documentation of production data, including efficiency, downtime, and quality control records.\n\nQuality Assurance & Food Safety Compliance:\nMaintain strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.\nConduct regular inspections to identify and address quality or safety concerns proactively.\nWork closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to address customer complaints, product non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.\nEnsure proper sanitation and hygiene practices are followed at all times in production areas.\n\nWorkforce & Team Leadership:\nSupervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve operational goals.\nConduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support employee development through ongoing training.\nPromote a positive workplace culture, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across teams.\nFoster a strong safety-first mindset, ensuring all employees understand and adhere to OH&S policies.\n\nOccupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Compliance:\nEnforce compliance with all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nConduct risk assessments and implement hazard control measures to ensure a safe work environment.\nLead investigations into workplace incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive actions.\nCollaborate with the OH&S Manager to promote a strong safety culture and reduce workplace injuries.\n\nCost & Resource Management:\nOptimize labor, materials, and equipment usage to improve cost efficiency.\nMonitor and control production-related costs, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.\nEnsure proper inventory management of raw materials and packaging supplies.\n\nDisclaimer: The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may change from time to time based on business needs.
