Standard process and procedures serve as a foundation for creative problem resolution. Work is performed without significant direction and this position will exercise latitude in determining assignment objectives. Work is reviewed at major milestones and upon completion of projects.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nCalculate monthly commission payments through the development and maintenance of compensation models. \nCompile and distribute monthly reporting related to Detailed Sales History and Expense Reporting. \nPrepare and analyze profitability for various segments and verticals of the company. \nDevelop data tools/modeling to improve and increase the efficiency and value of reporting. \nProvide timely, insightful, actionable, and accurate analysis and recommendations to support company projects and initiatives. \nAssist in the day-to-day functions including but not limited to identifying general ledger impacts and assisting in month end closing procedure(s). \nPerform other duties, as assigned. \nRequirements\nHow to qualify:\n2+ years in Accounting, Finance, or related field \nBachelors Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience. \nProficient Microsoft Suite Skills \nMaintain an outcome focused mindset\nHave strong prioritization skills\nAlways be a team player\nCarry a professional attitude and respectful demeanor\nWhy HBS?\nHeartland Business Systems is one of THE LARGEST technology VARs or Value-Added Resellers in the Midwest.
