The ideal candidate will have strong field experience with fire protection and fire life safety systems, including fire sprinkler, preaction, and low-voltage systems. This position requires a hands-on leader who is willing and able to assist with installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning while providing direction and oversight to field installation teams.\nResponsibilities\nOversee the testing of fire sprinkler, preaction, fire life safety and other low voltage systems in medium and large commercial buildings.\nAssist Management with overseeing testing team in the field\nEnsure the team is testing all systems properly and in full, including submittal of reports\nProvide technical guidance, tracking work progress and resolving issues\nCommunicate effectively with customers, contractors, and management regarding progress\nDemonstrate ability to troubleshoot creatively, solve problems effectively and make inform decisions while successfully guiding others through constant change\nDemonstrate working knowledge and field experience with wet, dry and preaction sprinkler systems, including associated valves, trim, detention/releasing components, supervisory devices and system accessories.\nThis role will also include testing systems and submittal of reports in a timely manner\nResolve field problems through research of multiple alternatives.\nAssist customers on-site with questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.\nComplete all appropriate company paperwork as required.\nResponsibilities may be modified or expanded as needed.\nIndustry-related NICET, and/or State Certification is preferred.\nQualifications\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record.\n5+ year experience with fire sprinkler and preaction systems.\nApplicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.\nMust be proficient in the use and application of industry-related equipment, including MS Office.\nMust have excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.\nRegular, reliable, predictable attendance.\nAble to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.\nCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting up to 75lbs.\nWhy Join Us?\nUnlimited Growth - Our expanding product lines and markets drive consistent double-digit growth, creating ongoing opportunities for advancement.\n Comprehensive Benefits - Enjoy 401(k) with matching, reduced-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus flexible spending accounts.
