application health (availability, latency, errors, capacity) and take proactive actions\nPerform deployment support, configuration, and environment management for applications ________________________________________ Incident & Problem Management\nPerform L2-level troubleshooting for incidents escalated from L1\nHandle P1/P2 incidents with ownership, drive service restoration within SLA timelines\nConduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes or workarounds\nParticipate in on-call support / 24×7 rotation L2 support focuses on resolving complex issues and ensuring rapid service restoration ________________________________________ Monitoring & Reliability Engineering\nConfigure and manage application monitoring, alerting, and dashboards\nAnalyse logs, metrics, and traces to detect performance or stability issues\nContribute to SLO/SLI adherence and error budget tracking\nDrive proactive incident elimination and reliability improvements SREs ensure reliability through monitoring, automation, and performance optimisation ________________________________________ Technical Operations - IIS & SQL\nManage IIS web servers: o Website/application configuration o Deployment and updates o SSL certificate management o Performance tuning and troubleshooting\nAdminister SQL Server databases: o Query optimisation and performance tuning o Troubleshooting database issues o Monitoring database health and capacity\nAnalyse application logs and system behaviour for issue diagnosis IIS, SQL monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment are core operational responsibilities ________________________________________ Automation & Continuous Improvement\nDevelop scripts/tools (PowerShell / C#) to reduce operational toil\nIdentify recurring issues and implement automation or permanent fixes\nSupport CI/CD and release validation activities SRE emphasises automation to improve scalability and reduce manual
