Consolidated revenues of US $14.5B for 12 months ending December 2025.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team and support a portfolio of business-critical applications.\n\nThe role will focus on developing and maintaining API, UI and end-to-end automated tests, enhancing a shared test automation framework, and ensuring reliable quality reporting and test evidence to support release decisions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain automated API, UI and end-to-end tests.\n\nExtend and enhance a shared .NET-based automation framework across multiple applications.\n\nImplement database validations and multi-layer business process automation.\n\nMaintain Azure DevOps pipelines, automated test execution, reporting and test artefacts.\n\nEnsure traceability between User Stories, Test Cases, Test Runs and Defects in Azure DevOps.\n\nInvestigate, triage and manage defects identified through automated testing.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to framework improvements.\n\nMaintain technical and framework documentation.\n\nWork within Agile/Scrum delivery teams and communicate progress and potential quality risks.\n\nDeliver automated test coverage as part of each sprint.\n\nSupport reliable regression testing and timely investigation of failures.\n\nDevelop reusable automation components that can support multiple applications.\n\nRequirements\n\nStrong software engineering background with solid expertise in at least one modern object-oriented programming language.\n\nStrong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.\n\nProven experience building and maintaining API and UI test automation frameworks.\n\nExperience with automated end-to-end testing.\n\nWorking knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.\n\nExperience with source control, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nStrong test design, defect management and analytical skills.\n\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments.\n\nStrong written and spoken English.\n\nInterest in using AI-assisted tools within software quality engineering.\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience with C# and .NET.\n\nExperience with NUnit, Playwright and RestSharp.\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL.\n\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Boards, Test Plans, Repos and Pipelines.\n\nKnowledge of Gherkin/BDD practices.\n\nExperience with Allure or similar test reporting tools.\n\nExperience working within Scrum or SAFe environments.\n\nWhat we offer:\n\nFood vouchers.\n\nCompetitive salary.\n\nOpportunity for career progression.\n\nSocial benefits package.\n\nProfessional on-boarding and on-going trainings.\n\nAre you willing to build up your career with us? – We’ll be happy to receive your resume in English!\n\n*Your personal data is secure with us.\n\n** Only candidates selected for interview will be contacted\n\nHCLTech provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by state or local laws.\n\nHCLTech is committed to protecting and securing the privacy and confidentiality of the Personal Data which it collects directly or indirectly from you when applying for a job at HCLTech either directly or through a third-party human resources agency.
