Reckitt's transformation strategy emphasizes modernization, service reliability, automation, AIOps, observability, and operational excellence, making SAP Basis a key supporting capability within the delivery model.\nKey Responsibilities\nSAP System Administration\nPerform day-to-day SAP Basis administration activities.\nMonitor and maintain SAP application servers and system landscapes.\nSupport client administration activities.\nManage system profiles and instance configurations.\nMaintain system health and operational stability.\nSAP Monitoring & Operations\nMonitor SAP systems for performance, availability, and capacity utilization.\nProactively identify and resolve technical issues.\nSupport batch job monitoring and issue resolution.\nMonitor update records, background processing, and system logs.\nEnsure compliance with operational procedures and support processes.\nIncident & Problem Management\nResolve SAP Basis-related incidents within agreed SLAs.\nPerform root cause analysis for recurring technical issues.\nSupport major incident bridges and recovery activities.\nCoordinate with SAP vendors and infrastructure teams when required.\nMaintain support documentation and knowledge articles.\nTransport & Change Management\nManage SAP transports across development, test, and production systems.\nSupport change implementation and deployment activities.\nValidate transport migrations and troubleshoot failures.\nParticipate in release planning and deployment activities.\nEnsure adherence to change management governance processes.\nPerformance & Capacity Management\nMonitor SAP performance indicators and system utilization.\nAnalyze workload distribution and system bottlenecks.\nRecommend performance improvements and optimization actions.\nSupport capacity planning activities.\nAssist in infrastructure sizing and scaling discussions.\nSystem Refreshes & Landscape Management\nSupport client copies, system refreshes, and environment maintenance activities.\nCoordinate non-production landscape refreshes.\nValidate post-refresh system functionality.\nManage technical consistency across SAP environments.\nBackup, Recovery & Business Continuity\nSupport backup and recovery validation activities.\nParticipate in disaster recovery testing exercises.\nAssist in business continuity planning activities.\nEnsure compliance with recovery objectives and operational standards.\nSecurity & Compliance Support\nSupport SAP Security teams during audits and compliance reviews.\nAssist with implementation of SAP security recommendations.\nMonitor system-level security settings.\nSupport vulnerability remediation activities.\nMaintain audit readiness and compliance documentation.\nAutomation & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities for Basis process automation.\nSupport implementation of monitoring and automation tools.\nParticipate in operational excellence initiatives.\nContribute to service improvement programs aligned with Reckitt's transformation objectives.\nSupport AIOps, observability, and reliability engineering initiatives where applicable\nSkill Requirements\nExperience supporting one or more of:\nSAP ECC\nSAP BW \nSAP Solution Manager\nSAP PI/PO and CPI\nSAP Fiori\nSAP Gateway\nSAP BusinessObjects\nSAP NetWeaver\nSAP Cloud Connector\nSAP BTP (preferred)\nRequired Skills\nSAP Basis Administration\nSAP Installation & Configuration\nSAP Kernel Upgrades\nSAP System Monitoring\nClient Administration\nTransport Management System (TMS)\nSAP Landscape Management\nBackground Job Administration\nSystem Copy & Refresh Activities\nDatabase Knowledge\nDatabase Monitoring\nBackup & Recovery Concepts\nDatabase Performance Monitoring\nTechnical Operations\nOperating System Administration (Linux/Windows)\nPerformance Tuning\nIncident Management\nChange Management\nProblem Management\nRoot Cause Analysis\nMonitoring & Automation\nSAP Solution Manager\nMonitoring Tools\nJob Scheduling Solutions\nObservability Platforms\nAutomation & Scripting Concepts\nOther Requirements\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.\nSAP Certified Technology Associate -
