This evolution supports the broader One Customer One Account (OCOA) vision of delivering a unified and connected view of customers across Volvo Group.\nThe Data Manager will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the Graph Intelligence Platform team, helping identify, define, and prioritize high-value use cases that leverage connected enterprise data.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Use Case Discovery\nEngage stakeholders across multiple business areas to identify and document Customer 360, Key Account, Cross-BA, and Graph Intelligence use cases.\nFacilitate workshops to uncover business problems, opportunities, and decision-making needs.\nTranslate business goals into structured use case definitions and requirements.\nDocument user personas, workflows, KPIs, success criteria, and business outcomes.\nRequirements Gathering\nLead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and product owners.\nCapture functional and non-functional requirements.\nDefine business processes, user journeys, and data requirements.\nCreate use case documentation, process flows, and business requirement artifacts.\nKey Responsibilities\nCustomer 360 & Graph Intelligence Analysis\nAnalyze how customer, account, fleet, contract, finance, service, parts, and organizational data interact across Volvo Group.\nIdentify opportunities where connected graph data can create business value.\nHelp define business metrics, KPIs, intelligence signals, and reusable insight definitions.\nSupport development of Customer 360, Key Account, Loyalty, Share-of-Wallet, Cross-Sell, and Risk-oriented use cases.\nStakeholder Management\nBuild relationships with business stakeholders across:\nMack Trucks (MT)\nVolvo Trucks (VT)\nVolvo Financial Services (VFS)\nVolvo Construction Equipment (VCE)\nRenault Trucks (RT)\nFacilitate alignment between business teams, architecture, engineering, and product management.\nManage feedback loops during design, development, UAT, and rollout phases.\nStrategic Planning & Prioritization\nHelp evaluate use-case opportunities based on:\nBusiness value\nData availability\nUser adoption potential\nTechnical feasibility\nStrategic alignment\nSupport roadmap planning and MVP definition activities.\nAssist in building business cases and value hypotheses for future investments.\nDesired Experience\nRequired\nSenior or Principal level Data Manager\nExperience working with enterprise applications, analytics platforms, customer data, or CRM-related solutions\nStrong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills\nExperience gathering and documenting business requirements\nAbility to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams\nExperience creating:\nUser stories\nProcess flows\nBusiness requirements documents\nFunctional specifications\nPreferred\nCustomer 360 experience\nKey Account Management process knowledge\nKnowledge of customer master data and account hierarchies\nExperience working with data platforms, analytics, or reporting solutions\nFamiliarity with graph databases, knowledge graphs, or relationship-centric data models\nExperience with data remediation strategies\nExperience with Azure DevOps, Confluence, or enterprise product delivery frameworks\nAdoption of and experience with AI for workplace efficiency.\nKey Success Measures\nThe Data Manager will be successful when they:\nBuild strong stakeholder engagement across business areas\nCapture high-quality, actionable requirements\nHelp identify high-value Graph Intelligence use cases\nImprove the speed and quality of business-to-technology alignment\nEnable successful delivery of Customer 360 and Graph Intelligence capabilities\nContribute to the creation of a reusable, enterprise-wide Graph Intelligence Platform\nWhy This Role Matters\nThe Graph Intelligence Platform is becoming a foundational enterprise capability that connects customer, account, vehicle, contract, finance, service, and organizational data into a unified graph.
