health.\nProvide governance over incidents, service requests, enhancements, and project deliveries.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business and IT performance.\nCoordinate onshore and offshore delivery teams.\nFinance Portfolio Leadership\nProvide leadership across MFR capabilities including:\nGeneral Ledger (FI)\nAccounts Payable\nAccounts Receivable\nTreasury Management\nPayments\nTax\nCredit Management\nFixed Assets\nHydrocarbon Accounting\nSettlements\nFinancial Close (FCC) and Consolidations (Group Reporting)\nExternal Reporting and related Finance processes\nStakeholder Management\nAct as the primary contact for the MFR portfolio.\nBuild trusted relationships with Suncor business leaders and D&IT stakeholders.\nFacilitate prioritization discussions, roadmap planning, and operational reviews.\nCommunicate service risks, issues, decisions, and mitigation plans.\nPresent operational health and delivery performance to senior leadership.\nIncident & Problem Management\nLead response and resolution activities for critical production incidents.\nManage Major Incident and Sev-1 bridges.\nCoordinate root cause analysis and corrective action plans.\nDrive reduction of recurring incidents and technical debt.\nEnsure production stability during critical Finance processes such as month-end close and payment runs.\nEnhancement & Project Delivery\nManage enhancement delivery from intake through deployment.\nEnsure alignment with Suncor governance and architecture standards.\nSupport strategic programs, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.\nPrioritize demand while balancing operational commitments.\nCoordinate testing, deployment, and business readiness activities.\nAutomation & Innovation\nIdentify opportunities for automation and AI adoption.\nDrive implementation of Finance automation solutions.\nEvaluate use cases utilizing SAP, Power Platform, Copilot, and related interface, IDoc, API, middleware, and batch-processing issues.\nCoordinate with integration, infrastructure, and application teams.\nEnsure reliability of critical Finance interfaces.\nResource Management\nLead a team consisting of consultants, offshore support resources, and technical specialists.\nManage resource planning, capacity management, and workload balancing.\nEnsure knowledge management and succession planning.\nMonitor delivery quality and consultant performance.\nSkill Requirements\n10+ years of SAP Finance leadership and delivery experience.\nStrong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance.\nExperience supporting large Finance organizations within a managed services environment.\nDeep understanding of:\nSAP FI/CO\nTreasury\nTax\nAP/AR\nCredit Management\nPayments\nGroup Reporting/FCC\nExperience managing service delivery teams in global delivery models.\nStrong communication and executive presentation skills.\nProven vendor and stakeholder management experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting oil and gas or energy industry Finance processes.\nKnowledge of Hydrocarbon Accounting and Settlements.\nExperience with SAP integrations, MuleSoft, APIs, and middleware platforms.\nExperience leading SAP S/4HANA upgrades and transformation programs.\nExposure to AI, automation, Power Platform, Copilot, and Finance digitalization
