The Dynamics 365 F&SCM Solution Architect will be comfortable in all aspects of delivery. They must be capable of switching between supporting or leading customer facing functional workshops and a group of functional consultants and business analysts, supporting technical roles including interface design, data configuration and migration and development teams, either customer based or HCLTech centric onshore and off-shore teams, working with project and program managers to effectively report on progress and risks and issues - to liaise with both internal and customer senior stakeholders - adjusting the approach and language as required for each interaction. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.\nThis person will be a confident communicator and a good co-ordinator whilst being able to handle stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. They will have experience of managing teams of consultants and will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nDrive quality and consistency within the company and champion the use of the Proven Process methodology. Ensure methodology is adhered to on all projects.\nAssume overall responsibility for solution design and architecture including clear visibility of transition from as-is solution landscape to to-be solution landscape through delivery and ownership of solution overview diagrams.\nAbility to act as a functional lead across multiple functional streams and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities. Leads functional workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions. Owner of the overall solution design.\nAbility to work alongside an interface/integration lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities. Leads functional elements of integration workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions.\nAbility to work alongside data migration lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities. Leads functional elements of data migration workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions. Owns the overall configuration and gold build of the solution being implemented.\nBe a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practice. Understand the capabilities of the functional and development team, providing support and assistance when needed\nWork with customer and internal teams on solution, business and infrastructure architecture where required.\nSkill Requirements\nProvide required functional, business and solution support to our customers during D365 F&SCM implementations and working with D365 CE Architects on hybrid / enterprise projects.\nWrite and review high level and detailed solution architecture documentation in line with Proven Process methodology.\nCreate Solution and Functional documentation for the project. Ensure that all documentation required based on the project commercials and the Proven Process methodology is completed to the required standards.\nEngage with test team to ensure the solution is tested thoroughly.\nStay current on D365 F&SCM and related technologies, particularly Azure stack technologies that support the solution\nMentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and experience to ensure that the team grows in experience and effectiveness\nExpected to be flexible with time and capable of working in a process-oriented environment\nExcellent communicator with ability to operate within cross functional teams\nAdvise customers on best practices for D365 F&SCM processes, user interface, and architecture\nWork with the training team to deliver and create super users and end users training, as needed\nComfortable participating and leading pre-sales engagements\nWork effectively with the sales team on delivering tender response documents, estimates and customer demonstrations\nFacilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, including the ability to drive a client to decisions\nOwn project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans; take personal ownership of the success of deliverables and projects\nProvide weekly status reporting along with Technical Architect, and Project Management\nOther Requirements\nSkills and Experience:\nSolid Microsoft platform Software experience.\nExtensive experience as either a functional lead, solution with AX or D365 F&O\nAt least 5 end-to-end full life cycle implementations of AX or D365 F&O\nExpert knowledge of finance and distribution and trade as well as good understanding of PMA, HR and proven industry experience in a number for industry sectors.\nExperienced in the use of Microsoft DevOps to manage project deliverables.\nExposure to Visual Studio Team Services or other similar enterprise planning and delivery tools\nExperience of leading projects using all aspects of LCS\nAble to manage or lead multiple large projects (6-24 months) with advanced organizational skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication\nProfessional demeanor\nFeels comfortable talking with clients at all levels within an organization\nAbility to balance short-term demands while maintaining the long-term vision needed to guide a customer through the implementation process.\nExhibit HCLTech Guiding Principles.\nAdvanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.\nAbility to work remotely and on customer site.
