Summary\nSeeking an experienced SAP EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Functional Consultant with strong functional knowledge of SAP EHS processes and hands-on experience in implementation, enhancement, rollout, and application support engagements.\nThe consultant will work closely with business, EHS, compliance, and technical teams to understand requirements, design SAP solutions, perform configuration, support integrations, testing, deployment, and production support.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct business workshops and understand Environment, Health, Safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.\nPerform requirement analysis, fit-gap assessment, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP EHS solutions.\nConfigure and support relevant EHS processes such as:\nIncident Management\nOccupational Health and Safety\nRisk Assessment / Hazard Management\nEnvironmental Management\nProduct Safety\nDangerous Goods Management\nSubstance / Specification Management\nTranslate business requirements into functional specifications for developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.\nWork closely with SAP ABAP and integration teams for custom development and interfaces.\nSupport SAP EHS master-data configuration, data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.\nCollaborate with other SAP functional teams for cross-module integration, particularly MM, SD, PP, EAM/PM, QM, and FI/CO, as applicable.\nPrepare and execute unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nSupport cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production stabilization.\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform functional root-cause analysis, and drive issues to closure.\nPrepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and knowledge-transfer documentation.\nWork effectively with global business and IT stakeholders.\nSkill Requirements\n6-8+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on exposure to SAP EHS.\nAt least one end-to-end SAP EHS implementation or significant rollout/transformation engagement preferred.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Environmental/Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.\nRelevant SAP certification would be an advantage.\nMust-Have Skills for Your Current Ramp-Up\nFor recruiter and initial screening, I recommend prioritizing these 5 areas:\nStrong SAP EHS functional/configuration experience\nHands-on experience in core EHS processes, particularly Incident Management, Risk Assessment, and Environment/Health & Safety\nSAP S/4HANA exposure\nIntegration knowledge with MM/SD/PP/EAM\nStrong hands-on functional experience in SAP EHS / EH&S.\n\nStrong understanding of Environment, Health, Safety, and compliance business processes.\nHands-on configuration experience in multiple SAP EHS functional areas.\nGood understanding of:\nIncident and Accident Management\nRisk Assessment\nOccupational Health & Safety\nEnvironmental processes\nSpecification and Substance Management\nProduct Safety\nDangerous Goods\nExperience in preparing functional specifications and working with SAP technical teams.\nUnderstanding of EHS integration with relevant SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, EAM/PM, and QM.\nExperience with implementation, rollout, enhancement, and/or support projects.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.\nGood stakeholder management, communication, and customer-facing skills.\nOther Requirements\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation programs.\nExposure to newer SAP S/4HANA EHS capabilities and Fiori-based applications.\nExperience in data migration and EHS master-data management.\nExperience in global template rollout or multi-country SAP implementations.\nUnderstanding of regulatory and compliance-driven EHS
