Responsibilities\nLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in accordance with the close calendar and agreed timelines.\nReview and approve standard, recurring, accrual, provision, reclassification, allocation, and adjustment journal entries with complete supporting documentation.\nEnsure accurate general ledger accounting, period-end cut-off, trial balance review, and timely closure of open items.\nOversee bank, balance sheet, clearing, suspense, payroll, fixed asset, and sub-ledger-to-general-ledger reconciliations.\nMonitor intercompany accounting, confirmations, settlements, mismatch resolution, and elimination support.\nSupervise fixed asset activities, including capitalisation, transfers, depreciation, impairment support, and disposals.\nReview financial statements, management reports, flux and variance analyses, and commentary before submission.\nSkill Requirements\nStrong accounting judgement, analytical ability, and attention to detail.\nEffective people leadership, coaching, delegation, and workload management.\nClear written and verbal communication with confidence in stakeholder and client interactions.\nStructured problem solving, root-cause analysis, and risk-based decision-making.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and remain composed during demanding close cycles.\nOwnership mindset, integrity, customer orientation, and commitment to timely closure.\nChange agility and a strong orientation toward process improvement and automation\nOther Requirements\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.\nProfessional qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.\nTypically 7-10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including substantial hands-on R2R experience and prior team-lead or supervisory responsibility.\nStrong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, accruals, and financial reporting.\nWorking knowledge of applicable accounting frameworks such as IFRS, Ind AS, or US GAAP, together with internal control and audit
