The role focuses on developing a common autopatching framework, integrating vendor products, and partnering with engineering teams to automate upgrades, reboots and lifecycle operations at scale.\nThe Role Involves\nBuilding a centralized autopatching platform used across DAT products and services.\nDeveloping automation for patch deployment, upgrade orchestration, validation and recovery.\nDesigning and implementing automated reboot workflows, including dependency handling, health checks and post-restart verification.\nIntegrating vendor and internally developed products into the autopatching ecosystem.\nPartnering with engineering teams to develop product-specific upgrade and reboot automation.\nDriving improvements in patch compliance, operational efficiency and platform resiliency.\nSkills Required\nProven track record delivering modern automation solutions in large-scale production environments.\nStrong Python and Unix/Linux scripting skills.\nExperience automating software deployment, patching, upgrades or infrastructure operations.\nStrong organizational, coordination and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience with Git or similar revision control systems.\nAbility to quickly understand and extend existing ksh, Perl and Python-based tooling.\nSkills Desired\nExperience building automation platforms or shared engineering services.\nFamiliarity with enterprise data platforms and related technologies.\nKnowledge of Ansible, Terraform or similar automation technologies.\nUnderstanding of Linux, CI/CD, SDLC and DevOps practices.\nKey
