Job Summary

• Serving as a technical architect and consultant for a leading Contact Lens manufacturer, delivering automation and digital transformation solutions in a highly regulated medical device environment
• Leading team of 15+ onsite and offshore engineers, acting as technical mentor, and primary customer point of contact for automation and controls projects
• Led shopfloor-to-MES integration using platforms aligned with ISA-95 standards to ensure structured data modeling and seamless vertical integration
• Led Retrofit activities and legacy system migration initiatives, transitioning outdated control platforms and SCADA systems to modern, scalable architectures
• Supporting Ignition SCADA solutions for real-time KPI tracking across production lines, enabling visibility into throughput, yield, and equipment utilization and downtime recording for non-GxP environments, where flexible deployment and rapid iteration supported continuous improvement initiatives
• Architected MQTT-based data frameworks to enable lightweight, real-time communication between PLCs, and enterprise systems, enhancing responsiveness and scalability
• IT/OT convergence initiatives, integrating plant-level controls with enterprise IT infrastructure to support predictive analytics, centralized monitoring, and remote diagnostics using tiered architecture
• Developed data engineering pipelines for high-frequency time-series data using Canary and Aveva historians, enabling contextual analytics and performance dashboards for decision support
