Our engineering lab team performs work that allows product development teams to focus on development. We have broad general skill sets and take pride in running engineering labs and filling in the gaps between the more narrowly-focused product development teams.\nJob responsibilities\nHelp design and build complex system-level testbeds and maintain lab space, tools and infrastructure.\nWork with teams to develop software and hardware systems and develop methodologies and tools to support team members.\nCoordinate the interactions between labs and engineering.\nAnticipate and resolve problems by applying knowledge and skills, escalating design, manufacturing and product test issues to other people within the organization\nwhen appropriate.\nGenerate implementation plans and provide technical expertise and guidance during deployment activities.\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience with standard networking protocols and various cabling and interconnect technologies (e.g. fiber or copper)\n3 years of technical experience within the Information Technology field.\nExperience with Linux.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience in working within a data center or networking operation center environment\nUnderstanding of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting\nOverall understanding of computer systems: physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, thermal etc.\nAbility to read and write code in Python or scripting language of your choice\nExcellent time management skills with an ability to manage constant priority changes and deadlines.\nTeam player
