Ensures Asset data is current and accurate.\nUnderstands best practices and determines optimized procedures for updating Asset data including the use of automated processes and manual input processes as necessary.\nDevelops and implements best practice standards, policies and procedures for planning, recording, monitoring and maintenance of hardware assets.\nDefines success metrics and monitoring of Asset Management processes.\nGenerates reporting for IT Assets as per requirements.\nProvides coaching and conducts training for Asset Management to ensure appropriate understanding of Asset Management system and its relationship to Change Management and other key IT processes.\nCollaborates with other IT process owners and functional areas (e.g. Change Management, Problem Management, Release Management, etc.)\nEvaluates industry innovations, maturity, trends, and changes regularly to plan and recommend new technologies.\nAssists auditors to audit the activities of the Asset Management team for compliance with current procedures; ensures corrective action is carried out.\nEstablishes and ensures staff comply with the naming conventions to be used to uniquely identify object types, environments, processes, lifecycles, documentation, versions, formats, baselines, releases, and templates.\nCreates an awareness campaign to win support for new Asset Management procedures;
