CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, and shift-left security - as a common baseline across divisions.\nInstill a data- and platform-first engineering discipline suited to subscription, content, and B2B SaaS products.\nDelivery Leadership & Technical Governance\nOwn end-to-end technical delivery for Informa's AD/Transformation workstreams across multiple business divisions.\nSet up architecture governance - design reviews, standards, and NFR sign-off - that scales across diverse tech stacks.\nDrive platform rationalization and cloud migration, reducing technology sprawl from prior acquisitions.\nBuild reusable engineering frameworks and accelerators applicable across business units.\nTrack and report engineering health metrics (velocity, defect leakage, deployment frequency, MTTR) to account leadership.\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement\nAct as the primary engineering counterpart to Informa's technology and transformation leadership.\nTranslate divisional transformation priorities into a coherent, account-wide engineering roadmap.\nRepresent HCLTech in technical governance forums, steering committees, and architecture councils.\nBuild trusted-advisor relationships that expand HCLTech's engineering footprint across Informa's divisions.\nLead delivery from an offshore location, ensuring seamless collaboration with onshore/client stakeholders through structured governance, overlap hours, and communication cadences.\nTeam Building, Coaching & Talent\nBuild, mentor, and retain engineering pods aligned to each supported business division.\nDefine skilling plans and technical career paths across a broad, multi-technology environment.\nFoster ownership, continuous learning, and engineering craftsmanship across distributed teams.\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement\nDrive adoption of platform engineering, data engineering, and GenAI-assisted SDLC practices.\nLead pilots for tooling and accelerators that support M&A-driven platform integration.\nContribute learnings back into HCLTech's engineering Centre of Excellence\nSkill Requirements\nRequired Skills & Experience\n16-20 years in IT with substantial experience in Application Development / Digital Transformation delivery.\nProven track record leading engineering teams of 20+ engineers across multiple concurrent workstreams.\nStrong hands-on engineering background across modern web/backend stacks (Java, .NET, Node.js, or similar).\nDeep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).\nExperience integrating or rationalizing diverse technology stacks, ideally following M&A activity.\nWorking knowledge of data platforms - SQL/NoSQL databases, ETL/ELT pipelines - for subscription and content products.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills across distributed, global business units.\nSolid grounding in Agile/Scaled Agile delivery models.\nProven track record successfully leading offshore delivery pods for global/onshore clients, with strong asynchronous communication and governance discipline.\nPreferred / Good to Have\nPrior experience in publishing, B2B information services, events/exhibitions, or subscription-based digital products.\nExposure to CMS, subscription/e-commerce platforms, or event-technology platforms.\nExperience supporting technology integration following mergers or acquisitions.\nRelevant certifications -
