This role will be responsible for leading technical design, architecture, development, integrations, environment management, and deployment activities across D365 F&SCM implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.\nThe Technical Architect will collaborate closely with solution architects, functional consultants, project managers, and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality enterprise ERP solutions. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise in D365 F&SCM, excellent communication skills, and experience leading distributed onshore/offshore teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership\nLead end-to-end technical delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management projects.\nProvide technical oversight and governance across development, integrations, environments, and deployments.\nLead and mentor onshore and offshore development teams.\nConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.\nReview and approve technical designs, development estimates, and implementation approaches.\nDrive technical quality, consistency, and delivery excellence across projects.\nSolution Architecture & Design\nDesign scalable, secure, and maintainable D365 F&SCM solutions.\nDevelop and review Technical Design Documents (TDDs), Solution Architecture Documents (SADs), and Integration Design Documents.\nDefine integration patterns, security architecture, deployment strategies, and extension frameworks.\nLead technical workshops and solution design sessions with customers.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.\nDevelopment & Customization\nLead development activities involving X++ extensions and customizations, Chain of Command (CoC), event handlers, custom services, OData services, business events, Electronic Reporting (ER), SSRS reports, and workflows.\nEnsure adherence to Microsoft's extension-first development model.\nAssist in software configuration and customization to meet business process and application requirements.\nSkill Requirements\nIntegration & Data Migration\nDesign and implement integrations between D365 F&SCM and external applications.\nArchitect integration design using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, REST/SOAP APIs, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Dual Write.\nSupport data migration planning, strategy, execution, validation, and reconciliation activities.\nWork alongside SA, Dev leads, data migration leads and functional teams to document migration requirements and solution approach.\nEnvironment & Release Management\nIntricate knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) environments and deployment activities.\nCreate CI/CD guidelines for D365 F&SCM implementation using Azure DevOps.\nUnderstanding deployment and release automation.\nUnderstanding of branching strategies and best practices and choosing the best strategy for the implementation projects.\nUnderstanding system performance and help team troubleshoot/resolve production issues.\nKnowledge of UDE preferred and experience in migration from LCS to Power platform.\nStakeholder & Project Management\nEngage directly with customer stakeholders and technical teams.\nProvide project status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.\nParticipate in requirements gathering, design reviews, technical workshops, and steering committee meetings.\nSupport project estimation, planning, and resource management.\nManage and deliver small projects independently with minimal supervision.\nPre-Sales & Solutioning\nSupport solution demonstrations and technical workshops.\nParticipate in RFP/RFI responses and proposal development.\nContribute to estimation, architecture reviews, and solution planning.\nProvide technical leadership during discovery and envisioning phases.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nSkill Git/TFVC, CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, build automation, release management, deployments, and environment refreshes, Unified Developer experience.\n\nReporting & Performance\n\nSQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS reports, performance optimization, monitoring, log analytics, Trace Parser, and troubleshooting.\n\nFunctional Understanding\n\nGood understanding of Finance, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory, Warehousing, Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain processes.\n\nOther Requirements\nExperience Requirements\n12+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O / D365 F&SCM experience.\nMinimum 5 end-to-end D365 F&SCM implementation projects preferred.\nExperience as a technical architect on enterprise ERP implementations.\nExperience working with global customers and distributed delivery teams.\nProven experience in architecture design, integrations, development, and deployment management.\nExperience in upgrade projects from AX 2012 to D365 F&SCM is highly desirable.\nExperience in AI enabling solutions like Copilot studio, M365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot desirable.\nPreferred Certifications\nMB-500 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps
