You will ensure the\ndaily health, maintenance, and uptime of our robot fleet and manage deployments of any and all\nnew software configuration updates that are being pushed to the wider fleet. The mission is to\nkeep every robot in working condition through rapid proactive inspections, troubleshooting and\nrepair while also maintaining the appropriate software / firmware configurations. You will be\nassigned to troubleshoot and repair as soon as a support bug has been made. You will be\nproactive in attending meetings related to upcoming deployment configs and communicating\nwith the rest of the team how any changes may affect their work.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor the fleet health dashboard in real-time and immediately start working on a robot\nthat needs repair .\nTroubleshoot the reason for failures such as mechanical (e.g., actuators, joints),\nelectrical (e.g., harnesses, sensors), or software (e.g. script execution).\nPerform component replacements (e.g., hot-swapping batteries or replaceable\ncomponents) to return the robot to service\nProvide status updates to assigned leads, program stakeholders and engineering teams\nabout the progress and any challenges being faced\nDocument the root cause and repair steps in a defect management system and to help\nprevent recurring failures.\nTrack and support to improve individual and team’s key performance indicators (KPI) -\nFleet Uptime, Mean time to respond (MTTR) and Mean time to troubleshoot (MTTT)\nStrictly follow safety and information security policies\nAttend training sessions on new tools and techniques and help train new staff\nReport to work on assigned time to the assigned lead and be open to support weekend\nwork as and when required\nProvide support in morning shift starting at 6 AM or afternoon shift starting at 2 PM or\nregular working hours starting at 9 AM.\nSkill Requirements\nBS in Mechanical, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering, with an understanding of\nbasic Linux commands\nExperience in diagnosing mechanical problems, electrical faults and basic software\nissues\nAbility to handle fast paced and high pressure work environments\nAbility to navigate a large facility and lift up to 50 lbs robot frames\nExcellent problem solving, documentation and communication skill\nOther Requirements\nflexibility to work over the weekend as additional
