The successful candidate must combine practical knowledge of computer vision and operational technology with strong coordination, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.\nSkill Requirements\nSite readiness and deployment planning\nCoordinate with manufacturing plants to prepare for computer vision deployments.\nConduct or facilitate initial discussions with plant leadership, OT teams, maintenance teams, operators, installation partners, and other stakeholders.\nAssess existing plant-floor infrastructure, operational processes, technical constraints, and deployment readiness.\nSupport the planning and facilitation of site boot camps and readiness workshops.\nTranslate program-level deployment plans into detailed, executable onsite activities.\nDevelop and apply repeatable site-readiness checks based on installation and commissioning requirements.\nComputer vision hardware deployment\nServe as the onsite eyes and hands of the computer vision deployment team.\nCoordinate the physical installation of cameras, lighting, enclosures, edge devices, network components, and associated hardware.\nGuide onsite installation teams on camera positioning, mounting angles, field of view, lighting conditions, image quality, and environmental constraints.\nDetermine or recommend appropriate camera mounting positions, number of cameras, and lighting arrangements based on differences in production-line configurations.\nSupport the collection of high-quality images and operational data required by the offshore data science team.\nVerify that installed equipment meets defined technical and operational expectations.\nCommissioning, integration, and issue resolution\nSupport commissioning and integration activities in collaboration with plant OT teams, installation partners, solution architects, and data science teams.\nPerform first-level triage for hardware, connectivity, image-quality, integration, and operational issues.\nCoordinate with the appropriate technical teams to investigate and resolve deployment issues.\nMaintain issue logs, supporting evidence, escalation details, owners, and closure status.\nFollow through on issues until resolution and confirm that deployed solutions remain operational.\nAssist with SCADA, industrial network, IoT, and control-system touchpoints where applicable.\nStandardization and documentation\nWork with program leadership to create standardized and repeatable deployment practices.\nDevelop checklists for site readiness, installation verification, commissioning, testing, and handover.\nCollect photographic, technical, configuration, and operational evidence from each installation.\nCreate and maintain as-built documentation for deployed systems.\nDefine and apply site-acceptance and handover criteria.\nCapture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future deployments.\nHelp establish a consistent deployment model that can be scaled across multiple plants and production stations.\nSite enablement and stakeholder coordination\nAct as a proxy for the computer vision deployment lead when coordinating onsite execution.\nBuild effective working relationships with stakeholders ranging from senior executives and plant leadership to OT engineers and assembly-line operators.\nCoordinate with the India-based data science team responsible for algorithm and model development.\nEnsure that the offshore team receives the required images, data, site information, and deployment feedback.\nSupport the preparation of training content and the overall learning approach for operators and onsite OT engineers.\nHelp establish local ownership so that plant personnel can operate and support the deployed solution.\nProvide regular deployment status, risks, issues, decisions, and next steps to program leadership.\nOther Requirements\nRequired Technical Skills\nWorking knowledge of computer vision concepts, including: o Camera selection and setup fundamentals o Camera positioning and field of view o Lighting design and image-quality considerations o Image and data collection o Vision-system installation and commissioning\nGood understanding of operational technology environments.\nFamiliarity with industrial automation and manufacturing control systems.\nUnderstanding of industrial IoT devices, plant-floor networks, and connected equipment.\nBasic knowledge of SCADA systems and their role in manufacturing operations.\nExperience supporting hardware installation, system commissioning, integration, or operational troubleshooting.\nAbility to understand technical architecture and deployment instructions without being responsible for solution architecture.\nBasic understanding of programming or scripting sufficient to communicate with software and data science teams.
