The role requires deep expertise in SAP ILM, data archiving strategy, and SAP BRIM/S/4HANA landscapes, with strong ownership of architecture decisions, compliance alignment, and stakeholder engagement in an onsite (US remote) model.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and own the SAP ILM architecture for BRIM data archiving and retention\nDefine archiving strategy, data objects, retention rules, and lifecycle policies aligned with business and compliance requirements\nLead ILM configuration and technical design, including object selection, rule assignment, and data flow design\nWork closely with SAP BRIM, S/4HANA, functional, technical, and BASIS teams to ensure seamless implementation\nSupport data readiness, mock runs, validation, and production execution of archiving activities\nEnsure adherence to data privacy, legal hold, retention, and audit requirements\nIdentify and mitigate technical risks related to data volume, performance, and system stability\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to development and support teams\nPrepare and maintain architecture documents, technical designs, and runbooks\nSupport cutover, go-live, and post-archiving validation activities\nMandatory Skills & Experience\nStrong hands-on experience as an SAP ILM Technical Architect\nProven expertise in SAP ILM architecture design, data archiving, and retention management\nSolid understanding of SAP BRIM and SAP S/4HANA data models\nExperience working on large-scale archiving or system lifecycle management projects\nStrong knowledge of compliance, audit, data privacy, and legal retention requirements\nExcellent stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills\nPreferred / Secondary Skills\nExperience with SAP ILM Store, Retention Management, and Legal Hold\nExposure to SAP BRIM modules (FICA, CI, Convergent Mediation)\nExperience working in regulated or audit-driven enterprise environments\nAbility to work effectively in onsite-offshore delivery models\nExperience & Band Fit\nTypically 10-12+ years of overall SAP experience with deep ILM specialization\nRole aligned to Band E3.1, requiring independent architectural ownership and
