The role requires strong technical depth, engineering leadership, and the ability to work directly with client Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and architecture stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn solution architecture and engineering delivery from design through production.\nLead engineering teams building scalable solutions using Java/Kotlin and Microservices.\nDrive brownfield modernization, including legacy assessment, incremental transformation, and cloud migration.\nArchitect and deliver solutions on GCP and/or AliCloud.\nEstablish engineering best practices around IaC, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, automated testing, observability, security, and production readiness.\nLead technical/design reviews and provide hands-on guidance for complex engineering challenges.\nPartner with client Engineering Managers and Product Owners to translate business priorities into pragmatic technical solutions.\nOwn technical decisions, risks, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs.\nMentor technical leads and engineers and drive engineering excellence across teams.\nSkill Requirements\n15+ years in software engineering, architecture, and technical leadership.\nStrong hands-on expertise in Java/Kotlin, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.\nStrong experience with GCP and/or AliCloud.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform or equivalent.\nStrong CI/CD and GitHub Actions experience.\nProven experience delivering and modernizing brownfield/legacy platforms.\nStrong understanding of event-driven architecture, API/integration patterns, resilience, scalability, security, and observability.\nDemonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and independently manage senior client technology stakeholders.\nOther Requirements\nWho We’re Looking For - ??\nThis is not a purely high-level architect role.
