Storage & Capacity Management\nManage database storage allocation and utilization.\nMonitor space usage and growth trends.\nPerform capacity planning and forecasting.\nOptimize tablespaces, indexes, and storage resources.\n3. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery\nConfigure and manage backup and recovery processes.\nExecute database restore and recovery activities.\nMaintain archive and retention processes.\nSupport disaster recovery planning and testing.\nEnsure business continuity and data protection requirements are met.\n4. Performance Monitoring & Tuning\nMonitor database health, availability, and performance.\nPerform SQL tuning and query optimization.\nAnalyze resource consumption and system utilization.\nIdentify and resolve database bottlenecks.\nImprove application database performance.\n5. Security & Compliance\nManage user access and database permissions.\nImplement database security controls.\nSupport compliance and audit requirements.\nEnsure adherence to licensing and governance policies.\n6. Replication & Environment Refresh\nSupport data replication technologies and processes.\nMonitor replication health and data consistency.\nPerform database refreshes across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.\nEnsure synchronization and integrity of replicated databases.\n7. Incident & Problem Management\nTroubleshoot database-related incidents.\nSupport production outages and critical issues.\nConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).\nWork with IBM/vendor support teams for complex problems.\nImplement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.\n8.
