He/ she should be able to define processes and create WoW for projects, looks into overall project delivery and develop relationship with external and internal stakeholders including C-level executives. He/ She would be responsible for engaging in early phase of projects and work closely with the internal as well as external customer teams on Program delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nResponsibilities\nSets the direction for the entire Projects team, builds and leads a vibrant team\nCreates and manages a strong team of Project Managers\nCreates, Contributes and Implements the best practices\nDevelops and lays down processes and procedure for the organization\nContributes to business growth by expanding and enhancing current service offerings\nAwareness of and understands various Project Revenue Models\nMonitors the progress of all projects and deliverables\nOwns and is accountable for scope, effort, budget and delivery\nDrives continuous improvement in project deliveries and individual / team performance. Towards this, measures and analyzes deliveries and performance across projects and timeline.\nContributes to annual planning of PMO and then executes it meticulously \nIs proactive and the ultimate escalation point on all matters related to all programs undertaken and team management\nWill look at Process efficiency and innovate methodology with a view to maximize value provided to the business units\nEstablishes and maintains excellent relationships with customer / Business Units\nViewed and perceived as a Role model and a genuine Team Player\nManaging & Reporting - Scope, Change Requests, Contractual Milestones, status to internal and external stakeholders\nComplying with PMO financial rigor and reporting- Weekly, monthly, quarterly\nSkill Requirements\nMandatory Skills\nShould have managed Projects and Large Programs independently.\nMust have handled client management, transition, transformation and migration of projects\nMust have managed program budgets of up to US $ 100 Million.\nUnderstanding of contracts and bid management through to development of SOW’s highly desirable.\nManages conflict constructively, can identify areas of improvement in team thinking.\nShould have been managing a team of project Managers\nShould have good analytical skills and eyes of detail, assess risk thoroughly and understands cause & effect systems.\nKnowledge and experience of working on diverse business models and team models with their pros and cons\nHands on with MS project, MS Excel and familiarity with other Project Management Tools\nInfrastructure domain knowledge -
