Import\nFollows up on incoming shipments.\nCo-ordinates import with forwarding agents, provide timely and correct import instructions and inform the relevant stakeholders within GL&NS and beyond.\nFiles compliant and accurate import declarations towards the authorities.\nTimely and compliant closure of inbound transit declarations.\nProvides timely and appropriate feedback to customs authorities.\nResponsible for the correct execution of special import documentation and assists in queries by customs authorities.\nResolves files of dispute.\nProvides feedback/information to stakeholders regarding import.\nResolves escalations from brokers related to import and inbound transit.\nEnsures accurate maintenance of SOP/WI’S.\nWorks with external stakeholders supporting the inbound/import process.\n2. Export\nCo-ordinates export with forwarding agents, provides timely and correct export instructions (EDIS) to forwarding agents.\nEnsures correct, timely execution of export declarations (E-filing) and transit declarations.\nResponsible for the correct execution of special export documentation and assisting in queries by customs authorities.\nProvides timely and appropriate feedback to customs authorities.\nEnsures accurate maintenance of SOP/WI’S.\nResponsible for issuing ATR-certificates.\nProvides feedback/information to stakeholders regarding export.\nIf applicable, responsible for sending declarations of preferential origin to customer service.\nResolves escalations from brokers related to export and outbound transit.\nWorks with external stakeholders supporting the outbound/export process.\nFollows up on timely closure of outbound transit declarations.\n3. Reporting\nMaintains stock records on a daily base.\nEnsures periodic stock controls of bonded goods.\nResponsible for the yearly closing stock records.\n4. Audit and Compliance\nProvides timely and correct input to all audit requests as appropriate.\nProvides regular metrics and take necessary actions to meet compliance.\nProperly documents processes in SOP’S and WI’S.\n5.
