The role will understand, document, and architect enterprise data structures across traditional relational platforms and modern distributed NoSQL environments. The successful candidate will work with business and technology stakeholders to define scalable, resilient, high-performance, and well-governed data solutions for complex financial systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nUnderstand, analyze, and document current-state and target-state data architectures for large financial systems.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, architects, application teams, and engineering leads to define enterprise data models and integration patterns.\nDevelop and maintain domain, conceptual, logical, and physical data models.\nDesign scalable, high-performance database solutions across Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and YugabyteDB.\nSupport enterprise data strategy initiatives and architecture governance reviews.\nProduce architecture documentation, presentations, and technical artifacts for technical and non-technical audiences.\nAssess current-state systems and recommend modernization or optimization opportunities.\nWork with development and infrastructure teams to ensure implementation aligns with architectural guidelines.\nParticipate in data migration, integration, and transformation planning.\nAddress performance, scalability, resiliency, and disaster recovery considerations in data architecture designs.\nSkill Requirements\nMust-have Skills\nStrong experience in enterprise data architecture and data modelling for large-scale systems.\nExpertise in designing data models for OLTP and transactional systems.\nExperience with domain-driven design and CQRS implementation.\nAbility to create domain, conceptual, logical, and physical data models.\nStrong relational database design and modelling experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.\nHands-on experience designing distributed NoSQL databases, including Cassandra and YugabyteDB.\nSolid understanding of data normalization, denormalization, distributed data design, and architectural patterns.\nStrong knowledge of enterprise integration and data governance principles.\nFinancial services domain experience in areas such as capital markets, investment banking, trading platforms, risk, or regulatory environments.\nStrong understanding of financial data domains and transactional systems.\nExcellent written and verbal English communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to explain complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.\nStrong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.\nAbility to bridge business requirements with scalable technical data solutions.\nNice-to-have Skills\nFamiliarity with Google Cloud Spanner and other cloud-native distributed database platforms.\nHands-on experience with ER/Studio or Hackolade.\nFamiliarity with cloud and hybrid data architectures.\nExposure to data governance and enterprise architecture frameworks.\nExperience working on large enterprise transformation programs.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nFinancial industry or architecture
