The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills in FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Server, database design, scripting, integrations, and solution architecture. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly business applications that support operational and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Application Development & Solution Design

• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Claris FileMaker Pro.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs.
• Build scalable and maintainable FileMaker databases and workflows.
• Develop new application features and enhance existing functionality.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, coding best practices, and security guidelines. Database Design & Management
• Design relational database structures and optimize data models.
• Develop and maintain tables, relationships, layouts, and data schemas.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Scripting & Automation
• Create advanced FileMaker scripts and script triggers.
• Automate business processes and workflows.
• Develop custom calculations, validations, and business rules.
• Implement scheduled jobs and server-side automation. Integration & API Development
• Develop integrations between FileMaker and third-party applications.
• Utilize REST APIs, JSON, XML, and ODBC/JDBC connections.
• Create and maintain data synchronization processes.
• Support cloud-based and on-premises integrations. Application Support & Maintenance
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor application performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Support upgrades, deployments, and migrations. Testing & Quality Assurance
• Perform unit, system, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Document test cases and validate system functionality.
• Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements. Documentation & Knowledge Management
• Create and maintain technical design documents.
• Develop user guides, operational procedures, and support documentation.
• Maintain application architecture and deployment documentation.
