The developer shall be part of the global CoE Software Solutions team within GPS IT based in India.\nThe developer shall work with team members based in both Zurich, Singapore and India to help maintain the current trading platform and improve and create new libraries and frameworks upon which our trading platform is based. Working in an agile environment and interacting with traders, business owners and other stakeholders, the developer shall capture new requirements, design innovative solutions, and implement them. As part of the global team and working on global applications, the developer shall also provide first class support to the business and other stakeholders when called on.\nThe developer shall have a strong background in backend development, with deep expertise in C#. The developer shall be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our financial platforms and applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. The developer shall ensure active risk management and meet all regulatory and internal compliance expectations relating to the role. As we are currently containerizing our applications for cloud-based development, the developer shall be familiar with Azure-based solution development (other cloud-based solutions are equally valid).\nIdeally, the developer shall have additionally a good knowledge of frontend development, specifically using JavaScript and React.\nKey Responsibilities\nKey features and accountabilities\nPeople Management\nContribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment across locations.\nMotivate and provide guidance/feedback to other team members to improve overall performance.\nBusiness Management\nWork to fulfil the ambitions of the team defined by Head of CoE Software Solutions.\nActively participate and support the head of the team to regularly review and improve team practices to optimise efficiency and productivity.\nContinuously drive and improve systems.\nStakeholder Management\nEffective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of applications supported by the team.\nSolicit and discuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders.\nProvide regular updates to key stakeholders through the various channels used by the team.\nChange Management\nActively participate and support Program Increment (PI) planning process within GPS.\nSupport change management and release rollout planning.\nProvide dedicated post implementation support locally in Asia.\nRegulatory Responsibilities and Risk Management\nDemonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.\nDesign and Development\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services.\nBackend Development\nDevelop and maintain backend services and APIs using C#.
