The consultant will help maintain material availability and continuity across manufacturing and logistics operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor, analyze and resolve incidents and service requests related to:\nProcurement and purchasing\nSupplier scheduling and material call-offs\nInventory and stock management\nGoods receipt and goods issue\nStock transfers and transfer postings\nReceiving and shipping\nMaterial master data\nRelevant sales and outbound processes\nPerform initial triage, assess business impact and assign tickets to the correct resolver group.\nInvestigate transactional failures, stock inconsistencies, incorrect document statuses and movement errors.\nResolve issues caused by missing or incorrect master data and configuration.\nSupport routine operational requests and approved production-data corrections.\nAnalyze failed MM-related IDocs and interfaces and coordinate technical issues with Integration and ABAP teams.\nPerform functional analysis for workflow, output and document-processing issues.\nConduct root-cause analysis for recurring procurement, inventory, receiving or shipping incidents.\nPerform configuration analysis and eligible small configuration corrections through the approved change process.\nReproduce issues in non-production environments and coordinate functional, regression and user-acceptance testing.\nSupport month-end processing and other business-critical operational activities.\nPrepare structured handovers when issues require major development, design changes or specialist L3 support.\nMaintain functional runbooks, known-error records and knowledge articles.\nSkill Requirements\nRequired Skills and Experience\nStrong hands-on experience in SAP MM Purchasing and Inventory Management.\nGood understanding of material master, goods movements, stock transfers and logistics processes.\nWorking knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution processes relevant to shipping and outbound execution.\nUnderstanding of integration between MM, PP, EWM, Finance and external supplier systems.\nExperience with SAP configuration, incident management, RCA and controlled production changes.\nExperience working with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM platform.\nStrong analytical, documentation and stakeholder-communication skills.\nOther
