This role follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and documented processes while working independently with guidance from senior technicians and technical leads.\nKey Responsibilities\nLab Logistics Support\nMaintain laboratory environments following 6S methodologies:Sort\nSet in Order\nSafety\nShine\nStandardize\nSustain\n\nReceive, unpack, package, transport, and deliver hardware, systems, and lab materials.\nSupport shipping, receiving, ISM creation, asset tagging, and hardware tracking activities.\nPerform inventory management activities including:Hardware issuance and returns\nDatabase updates\nWeekly transaction audits\nHardware storage and organization\nMaterial disposition and scrapping\nHardware waterfall collections and disassembly\n\nRegister silicon, boards, systems, and hardware into inventory management systems.\nSafely lift and transport equipment up to 40 lbs. and support team lifts for heavier equipment.\nOperate within laboratory environments while following PPE and safety requirements.\nLab Technical Support\nManage assigned tickets, work orders, and service requests according to defined SLAs.\nAssemble and deploy client and server systems following documented build procedures.\nExecute system builds according to deployment plans and resource allocations.\nApply approved BKC/BKM configurations and verify system functionality.\nLabel systems and maintain accurate records in SOR and inventory systems.\nPerform first-level troubleshooting and triage activities, including:Hardware inspection\nComponent reseating\nBIOS/Firmware updates\nFunctional verification\n\nCollect test data and generate status reports.\nMaintain approved golden configurations and system baselines.\nAssist with hardware and software upgrades as directed.\nSupport deployment area setup activities, including network, KVM, and PDU installation.\nBoard Support\nPerform basic board-level diagnostics and verification activities.\nAssist with documented board modifications and rework activities.\nFollow established procedures for component replacement and repair.\nConduct board inspections and validation testing.\nEscalate complex technical issues to senior technicians\nSkill Requirements\nQualifications\nRequired\nAssociate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Computer Engineering Technology, or related field.\n0-3 years of technical hardware support experience.\nKnowledge of computer hardware components and assembly.\nBasic understanding of electronic circuits and board-level components.\nExperience following SOPs and technical documentation.\nBasic soldering skills preferred.\nFamiliarity with inventory and ticketing systems.\nOther
