Utilize the Meraki Dashboard to monitor packet loss, latency, and throughput across the environment.\nProactively identify and troubleshoot network bottlenecks, latency issues, and connectivity failures to ensure high availability.\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) on network outages and implement permanent mitigations\nAutomation & Scaling\nAutomate routine network configurations, firmware updates, patching, and lifecycle management tasks to reduce manual intervention.\nUtilize network APIs (e.g., Meraki Dashboard API) and automation frameworks (like Python or Ansible) to streamline operations and enforce configuration consistency.\nEvaluate and optimize Quality of Service (QoS) for business-critical SaaS applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom).\nCollaboration & Support\nProvide L3 escalation support for complex network incidents.\nCollaborate closely with ISP providers to quickly resolve circuit or last-mile connectivity issues.\nMaintain and update network documentation, topology diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nSkill Requirements\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience in enterprise WAN/LAN administration.\nCore Technologies: In-depth knowledge of Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, MX Security Appliances, MS Switches, and MR Wireless Access Points.\nRouting & Switching: Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).\nAutomation: Proficiency in scripting/automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.\nCertifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise, or Meraki-specific certifications (e.g., CMNO) are highly preferred.\nOther Requirements\nPerform architecture, design and engineering services for the Network Environment.
