Conducts assessments and analyses to identify new development needs and recommend new training methods.\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities\nManages the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of learning programs. Tracks employee performance and measures training outcomes.\nConducts needs analyses and translates business requirements into defined training needs. Determines the scope, audience, timing, delivery method, and resource requirements for trainings.\nPartners with leadership to identify process trends that support associates and drive organizational consistency.\nWorks with associates and managers to ensure that learned knowledge and skills are transferred to the job.\nReviews, edits, and maintains trainings, standard operating procedures, job aids, and other strategic tools and resources.\nDelivers learning communications, including monthly newsletters, process updates, and technology announcements.\nCreates development standards, processes, and templates to produce consistent and quality instructional materials.\nParticipates in associate trainings as needed.\n\nNature and Scope\nDemonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.\nNature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.\nMay provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.\n\nWork Environment\nLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.\nMost of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.\nTypically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.\n\nEducation and Experience\nTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
