A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities\nManages the day-to-day activities of individual sales representatives which may be grouped by channel, market, product unit, etc.\nDefines the sales process and develops efficient and creative sales strategies that drives desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when applicable.\nAnalyzes and develops reports to identify opportunities within their territories for sales and revenue growth objectives.\nSpends time in the field and interacts with customers and internal partners to resolve escalated issues.\nDevelops sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and increase market share within assigned territory.\nManages and develops direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales.\nReviews performance management, identifies successful candidates, and coaches and develops the team for career development and sales growth.\nNature and Scope\nSolutions require analysis and investigation.\nAchieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.\nManages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.\nWork Environment\nUsually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes or odors.\nMost of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking and/or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).\nTypically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.\nEducation and Experience\nTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
