Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Build AiStudio's next product surfaces: Your primary job is 0-to-1 product creation. Nothing is predefined. You work with your FDPM to find where the platform can be extended to solve problems no product currently solves, then design and ship it.
• Own the full stack: Data model, services and APIs, the UI, the integrations, the infrastructure. One engineer carries a feature from an empty repository to a client using it in production.
• Run what you ship: Delivery does not stop at launch. You own environments, releases, migrations, monitoring and the support that follows. When something breaks at a client, you diagnose it, fix it and make sure it does not recur. Lead deep discovery: Before you write code, go deep on the business. What is structurally broken, where the unsolved value sits, and what is buildable fastest. Pressure-test your hypotheses with the people who live with the outcome.
• Be a technical partner to the C-suite: Earn trust with the executives accountable for outcomes, not just their technical teams. Explain what you are building, why it will work and where the risks are.
• Scale what works and stay at the frontier: Make successful builds repeatable with the core R& D team, and feed what you learn in the field back into what AiStudio builds next.

Requirements:

• 2 to 6 years in technical roles, with a track record of shipping and running production software end to end across backend, front-end and infrastructure.
• You think like a founder: Curious about the business, scrappy and resourceful, as comfortable in a strategic discussion with a CEO as you are deep in a codebase. You have shipped products real people use.
• 0-to-1 build track record: You have built production software from scratch in ambiguous environments and can point to something now used at scale.
• Production AI experience: Prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks and deployment at scale. Not just prototypes.
• Genuine full-stack depth: Backend services and APIs, data modelling and database work (Postgres, Supabase or equivalent), and modern front-end (TypeScript, React or similar) with the design judgment to build an interface an executive will use without a manual.
• Deployment and operations ownership: Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, environments, secrets, logging and monitoring. You have kept live systems healthy, not just launched them.
• Business acumen and customer instinct: You identify the real problem without being handed a brief, and build trust at every level of an organisation.
• Builder's judgment: You know what is buildable, how long it takes and when to cut scope to get something real into production. Former technical founders are strongly encouraged to apply.
