# Mechanical Engineer

Description The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the design, development, and support of complex electronic power systems for the defense industry. Candidates must be interested in analog electronics, creative, self-motivated, and able to apply their knowledge to solve challenging technical problems. Our team is responsible for developing designs for a variety of advanced systems including missiles, radars, aircraft, launchers, etc. Mechanical engineers will support product packaging, complete component and material analyses, develop and maintain technical documentation, support failure investigations, and collaborate closely with electrical engineers on product development. Work with cross-functional teams on new product development and internal R&D activities. Design enclosures, structures, cooling systems, components, assemblies, assembly fixtures, and/or test fixtures using applicable military and industry standards and specifications. Lead design reviews of detailed models, drawings, BOMs, and other engineering documents to ensure successful manufacturing and implementation of HDL products.
