Training Provided.\nThe Production Assembler (Conformal Coat) will coat the printed circuit boards and assemblies of power electronics for the defense and aerospace industry.\nClean and prepare assigned parts in accordance with production drawings, work instructions, and verbal instructions.\nMix coating material and coat parts by dip, brush, or spray. \nAssist with potting (encapsulation) tasks. \nSelf-check work before passing forward to ensure parts meet quality requirements.\nAssist with rework on defective parts that are rejected by inspection or test personnel.\nLog in and out of production jobs for accurate job tracking. \nRecommend process changes where practical.\nWear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.\nPerform other jobs as needed.\nRequirements\nUS Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.\nAbility to maintain industry certifications - IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-J-STD-001 SPACE, and IPC-610. \nAbility to read and comprehend drawings, schematics, production aides, quality documents, etc. \nAbility to demonstrate visual acuity.\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\nExcellent time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred, But Not Required:\nPrevious experience in electronic assembly or general manufacturing.\n Why Join Us?\nWith over 40 years of experience in the defense industry, HDL Research Lab's mission is to design and build high quality custom power electronics for military and aerospace applications.
