Accurate and timely performance and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.\nIn the role of Accounting Assistant, we'll count on you to:\nAssist with project budgeting, invoicing and monthly status reports\nAssist with project coordination of document control, development and tracking of decision logs, action items, client and team meetings and organization and production of deliverables\nMaintaining cost tracking and recovering costs through delivery projects.\nPulling and updating reports on a weekly basis to support management.\nReviewing, annotating, and processing expense documentation.\nAssist in reviewing and validating credit card purchases.\nAssist in maintaining accurate timecards for area staff.\nAssist in maintaining local accounts payable by reviewing and processing invoices.\nAssist in maintaining appropriate approvals for overhead costs\nPerform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment\nDo routine work and follow detailed instructions\nInvolve the use of computers to maintain financial records and accounting reports\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting\nExperience in cost accounting\nInterest in growing in cost accounting\nProficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook\nFlexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School diploma or equivalent \nStrong attention to detail, manage multiple projects independently \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
