Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nHDR’s Bellevue Building Engineering Services (BES) team is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex projects for aerospace clients within a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. This role will serve as a key interface with a dynamic, rapidly evolving client organization, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing competing priorities, and driving project execution from early planning through delivery. The successful candidate will thrive in a challenging setting that demands strong leadership, proactive communication, sound technical judgment, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining exceptional client service and project performance.\nIn the role of Aerospace Project Manager, we'll count on you to:\nDirect and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development and initiation to close-out)\nResponsible for all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects\nProduce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently\nEstablish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings\nConduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders\nCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule\nTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule\nWork with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews\nImplement QA/QC procedures\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nMinimum 5 years of experience serving as a Project Manager, successfully leading multidisciplinary building engineering projects from planning and design through construction and closeout. Master's degree\nPMP certification\nInterest in advancing digital delivery and AI-supported workflows in infrastructure projects\n\nAerospace facility experience preferred, including the delivery of manufacturing, research and development, testing, mission-critical, or other technically complex building projects for aerospace clients.\n\nLocal to the Bellevue/Greater Seattle area or able to regularly support client and project team engagements throughout the region, with established knowledge of the local market and permitting environment.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering \n7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management\nRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
