Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nThe Assistant Corrosion Project Manager should have an solid understanding of corrosion mechanisms and materials science. The role will require a split between office time and fieldwork. The office work consists of preparing for field work, compiling field data, as well as writing reports and technical memorandums. The field work will consist of performing assessments on pipelines and concrete structures associated with the water, wastewater, and transportation industries. Field work includes entering confined spaces, working near traffic, and working in wastewater structures. The Assistant Corrosion Project Manager will also be expected to frequently travel nationally for field work. This role will receive classroom and hands-on training to be able to perform fieldwork properly and in a safe manner.\nIn the role of Assistant Corrosion Project Manager, we'll count on you to:\nCoordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager\nResponsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project\nCoordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule\nWork with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews\nConduct analyses to develop chemical or process related design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (examples include engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, and project specifications)\nPerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures\nComplete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables\nWork independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers / professionals on larger projects\nWork with assistance from Project Engineers, Engineers In-Training (EITs), Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in project execution within the Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Mining, Food and Beverage and/or Industrial Markets\nComputer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Chemical / Process design software (examples include Aspen Suite, EnviroSim BioWin, Hatch GPS-X, or OLI Systems)\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering \n5 years related experience \nRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
