We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.\nIn the role of Bridge EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:\nApply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designs\n\nWork on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete,), box culvert, sign structures, retaining walls and interchange design for highway projects\nSelect standard bridge engineering/design procedures, and develop structural details using specialized software\nPerform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development\nDevelop structural details using basic structural design and analysis software.\nParticipate in bridge inspection, perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development\nPerform other duties as needed \nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Structural Engineering\nExperience in bridge/structural design including deep foundation design and prestressed concrete design\nKnowledge of Projectwise, BGS, BridgelinkFamiliarity with TxDOT bridge design manuals, guidance, bridge standards, preferred practices and software.\nExperience using Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, Projectwise, MathCAD, Bluebeam\nFamiliarity with engineering software packages such as: BGS, SPColumn, BridgeLink\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\nFamiliarity with Bluebeam Revuand knowledge of engineering software packages such as: LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge. \nBentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d\nStrong understanding and hands-on use of computers for structural layout and design\nGood communication skills and willing to work in a team environment\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
