As a Commercial Management Coordinator, you’ll be a trusted partner helping shape complex, high-impact water infrastructure projects that strengthen California’s water reliability, sustainability, and resilience for the communities that depend on them. You will support Project and Program Managers by providing guidance and assistance related to contract and financial management.\nThe Commercial Management Coordinator is responsible for the completion of tasks as delegated by the Senior Commercial Manager, Commercial Manager, or Project Manager\nSupport Project Management related mentoring and training activities.\n\nCollaborate with a project team consisting of schedulers, project analysts, document control manager, project accountants and project coordinators.\n\nSupport Project/Program Managers to administer on-going contracts.\n\nSupport monitoring of contract documents and reviews for conformance.\n\nLead and/or support preparation of subcontracts for engineering, planning, and specialty services.\n\nReview proposals and contract documents with a focus on identifying and minimizing conflicts and ambiguities.\n\nPrepare correspondence and work with project coordinators and accountants to maintain records necessary to document the effective administration of contractual matters.\n\nAssist Project/Program Managers to identify contractual implications of change orders and quality control conformance.\n\nMonitor schedule for submission of deliverables and other contractual deliverables and certifications.\n\nLead and/or support development of weekly and monthly project progress/status reports.\n\nTrack financial aspects of projects and work with Project/Program Managers to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scope, budget, and schedule.\n\nSupport Project/Program Managers in a proactive and responsive manner.\n\nPerform other duties as needed.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nContract and risk management experience\n\nFamiliarity with Accounting Software\n\nAbility to work on multiple projects at one time\n\nRequired Qualifications\nA minimum of 3 years' experience in Architecture/ Engineering, Design-Build, P3, project management, or project controls environment\nEntry level positions are possible with a bachelor's degree in architecture, business, law or equivalent \nAbility to work well in a high performing team structure in a fast-paced environment\nSelf-starter; good communication and people skills\nMust be committed to quality and improvement and promoting HDR's values\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
