Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nEnvironmental, Operations and Construction (EOC) operates within HDR’s Federal Business Group, capable of delivering services across all HDR business groups at any location. Our work is performed by our professional staff, scientists and engineers at remote sites, embedded in client office space or our own facilities. EOC delivers quality engineering, environmental, and construction management services at competitive prices.\nThis position is in person and is located full time at our client's office at Keesler Air Force Base.\nIn the role of Construction Manager I, we'll count on you to:\nMaintain accurate daily record of construction site activity and produce required reports on progress, safety, quality, permit compliance, schedule and budget status\nProvide architectural oversight and direction of construction planning and management for our client on an Air Force installation\nReview construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applications\nPrepare, issue and negotiate Change Orders\nReview and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules\nCoordinate with other project team members including the Owner, Engineer, and Contractor\nWork individually or supporting more-senior staff on larger, more complex projects\nPreferred Qualifications\nConstruction or design certifications\nExperience with AutoCAD\nExperience with estimating software PACES, MII, (Timberline ), scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak), and project management software (Prolog)\nBachelors degree in Architecture or Construction Management\nA minimum of 5 years experience in the architectural discipline of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety for projects in excess of $1M \nAt least 2 years of public/governmental organizational experience\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience\nA minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety \nExperience with Microsoft Office\nExperience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nSponsorship (visa) for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
