Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nEnvironmental, Operations and Construction (EOC) operates within HDR’s Federal Business Group, capable of delivering services across all HDR business groups at any location. Our work is performed by our professional staff, scientists and engineers at remote sites, embedded in client office space or our own facilities. EOC delivers quality engineering, environmental, and construction management services at competitive prices.\nIn the role of Construction Manager II, we'll count on you to:\nTake responsibility for subcontractor coordination, scheduling and quality control\nPrepare the Project Management Plan, Construction Management Plan, Quality Control Plans as required\nDevelop procedures for executing construction contract administration such activities including document, change, time, cost, quality and safety management, and implement procedures in coordination with the project team\nPerform additional construction management activities, including development procurement - construction schedules, construction subcontract scopes, review of subcontract terms and conditions, performance of constructability and value engineering reviews, construction estimating and schedule reviews, and project construction performance presentations\nAdminister and manage construction activities\nPerform value engineering and constructability reviews\nCoordinate document management\nReview or coordinate review of Coordinate, expedite and reviewing construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applications\nSupport Client in the Preparation, issuing and negotiating Change Orders\nReview or coordinate review of Coordinate, expedite and reviewing construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applications\nPrepare, issue and negotiate Change Orders\nReview and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules\nCoordinate and manage project quality assurance and control, and inspection services\nEnsure subcontractor compliance with the Health and Safety Program through communication and inspections\nPrepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and daily, weekly, and monthly progress, budget, and schedule management reports\nFacilitates resolution of technical issues between Quality Assurance personnel and Designer(s) of Record\nFacilitates resolution of technical issues between Quality Assurance personnel and Construction Contractor(s)\nPerform other duties as needed \nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional Engineer (PE)\nCertified Construction Manager (CCM)\nExperience with estimating software, scheduling software, project management software and web-based collaboration software for the exchange of documents\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience. \nA minimum of 10 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to construction contracts; document, time, cost, and quality management; change management; and site safety. estimating, bidding, preparing and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc. \nExperience with Microsoft Office \nExperience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc. \nMust have strong people skills and the ability to interact with the Owner, Engineer, Contractor and other project stakeholders \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nSponsorship (visa) for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
