This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.\nHDR is in need of a Construction Services Project Manager to join our Water Business Group team in Asheville, NC with a technical background in water and wastewater treatment plant, pump station, and pipeline construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for performing constructability reviews of project designs and leading projects during the construction administration phase. Project types could include water and wastewater treatment plants, water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations and related infrastructure projects. The candidate must be skilled in construction administration phase services coordination and management as a consulting engineer, coordinating with contractors, sub-consultants, and utility owners, coordinating technical specifications and design drawings with the design and construction team, and performing office and field services during construction. They will also be expected to direct construction administration services staff and perform client management activities to support our North Carolina Area-based Water/Wastewater team.\nThis position is subject to a preemployment drug test.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPE or ability to obtain in North Carolina within 6 months preferred but not required.\nExperience in the construction and / or design area.\nExperience with water/wastewater projects primarily focused on treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines.\nExcellent communication skills and thrive working in a team environment.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience\nA minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety \nExperience with Microsoft Office\nExperience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nSponsorship (visa) for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
