Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of a Data Scientist Intern, we'll count on you to:\n·Offer real-world experience on exciting projects\n·Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs\n·Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your Department Manager, Section Manager or other professionals\n·Contribute towards a variety of data science projects performing exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development and training.\n·Develop data and generative AI solutions including chatbots, geospatial, and geotechnical search facilities\n·Work with a variety of open source and commercial software such as Snowflake, and Azure AI services\nPreferred Qualifications\n·Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer or Data Science, Data Analytics, or related degree\n·2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA\n·Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry\n·local candidate preferred\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program \nAttention to detail a must \nMust possess strong problem-solving and communication skills \nBasic Microsoft Office skills \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
