This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive meaningful change and help define the future of our communities.\nIn the Kingston studio, we'll count on you to:\nEvaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documents \nPerform architectural assignments independently with only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager regarding the expected results\nWork directly with owners/clients and subconsultants to select and recommend procedures\nCoordinate subconsultant work for alignment with project requirements and Architectural Design.\nComplete on-site evaluation of completed work and work with Contractors to lead Construction Administration efforts with support from the Project Architect or Project Manager\nWrite specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviews\nAssist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural process\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Architecture\nProficiency in Grench is an asset but not required\nExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required\nKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max \nRhino and Grasshopper experience\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field \nMust possess credentials to obtain future registration \nExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) \nDesire to pursue growth opportunities and eventually obtain registration \nStrong leadership, communication and relationship management skills \nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills \nProficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process \nDemonstrated graphic presentation skills \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
